About this job

Reporting to the Warehouse Administrator perform all Administrative functions in the warehouse including GRV’s.

Key Result Areas:

  • Reports to the Warehouse Controller
  • To ensure the safe keeping of all documents for 5 years
  • Conduct in conjunction with the Warehouse Controller stock counts and reconcile to ledger
  • Assist with investigations when queries arise
  • File all stock takes away if needed for future reference
  • GRV all local items received ensuring that Description, Pricing and Quantity are correct
  • Report any discrepancies found with regards to receipt of items
  • Advise end users of items received
  • Update reports and statistics
  • Detect, categorize and authorize changes to stock – this to include:
  • Reconciling movements in the two systems of receipts returns to factory, dispatches and returns from branches
  • Investigate and report on all differences between IM and WMS
  • Maintain a constant balance between IM and WMS


Skills Required

Qualifications

  • Matric / Grade 12 with Maths as a subject
  • Diploma in stores & stock control

Experience and Skills

  • 1 years warehouse admin experience essential
  • Good warehousing background
  • Engineering & consumable spares knowledge
  • Solid Excel and MS Word skills essential
  • SAP experience essential
  • Thorough knowledge of WMS
  • Good organizational abilities
  • Honesty
